A bit about me…
I am an IFS-Certified Clinical Psychologist with a passion for healing trauma and empowering women and queer folks.
I began my career as Crisis Interventionist & Advocate at a rape crisis center based in DTLA. My work there inspired me to deepen my knowledge and skills, prompting me to complete my master’s and doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology. During my training, I built a specialty in healing trauma working with a wide array of culturally diverse patients. Since then, I’ve gained a decade of clinical experience working primarily with young women and queer folks who are ready to embark on their journey of healing, self-discovery, and becoming their most empowered selves.
I view the therapeutic process as a sacred collaborative experience that involves the mind, body, and spirit. I firmly believe that a successful therapeutic experience should not only heal symptoms but also transform them into personal strengths. To facilitate that transformational journey, I use a non-pathologizing, strengths-based psychotherapy model called Internal Family Systems (IFS) along with Havening Techniques, a somatic approach that uses the latest developments in neuroscience to change the electrochemical makeup of the brain to create permanent healing and resiliency.
